Global Entrepreneurial Wealth Report 2026
Based on insights from over 3,000 business owners around the world, this year’s HSBC Global Entrepreneurial Wealth Report captures how entrepreneurs are building businesses and preserving personal wealth in the age of AI.
We explore a world where optimism remains high, while decision-making is getting sharper: bigger bets on technology and people, a stronger pull towards home markets, and a more diversification-led approach to personal portfolios. We explore where confidence is accelerating fastest and how trust, gender and generations are shaping adoption, AI investment and long-term planning.
Read the full 2026 Global Entrepreneurial Wealth Report to understand what’s changing, what’s holding steady, and what entrepreneurs like you are doing next, including the emerging AI trends for entrepreneurial success.
Top findings:
AI investment is now universal: All of the entrepreneurs we spoke to are investing in AI, with AI investment trends revealing businesses are committing 21 per cent of turnover in the next 12 months on average.
Optimism remains strong: 95 per cent of entrepreneurs are positive about their business prospects — and AI is the #1 driver of that optimism.
AI trust depends on the task: Entrepreneurs trust AI more for personal and business use (91 per cent and 90 per cent) than for managing investments (84 per cent).
Singapore is the leading hub: It’s again the top destination globally for entrepreneurs considering a new residency, and the market they most want to do business with.
Direct investing is gaining ground: Among entrepreneurs investing in alternatives, almost half (49 per cent) plan to increase their direct investment in private companies over the next 12 months.
